FULL SCALE BUILDING IN WOOD
Since 2004 part of first year students first autumn assignment.
Two weeks project period and 8-10 days full scale building by the first year students, situated at public spaces in the city as a open exhibition of space.
Inviting different kinds of use and events, before disassembly and reuse of materials.

The paper investigates full-scale building as an educational tool for first year architect students, comparing learning outcome of two different pedagogical attitudes in the light of Soma-Aesthetics and Aesthetic Theory of Richard Shusterman and Dorte Jørgensen. Keywords: action research through full-scale educational master plans/ learning by doing/ process-thinking/ reflecting on complexity through aesthetic thinking as theoretical framework
